First Youth Game in the Bag!
Narberth Youth RFC traveled to Doylestown to face the Dragons youth program. Doylestown provided Narberth with additional players in order to play their first friendly of the season, and were fantastic hosts for the day. All of the Narberth boys were playing in their first ever rugby match, but they banded together and played solid rugby.
Narberth’s Robert Murray scored two tries from the fullback position. James Lane converted for points on two of the teams tries. Lincoln Tucker had the tackle of the match, with perfect tackling position on the wing he managed to bring down one of Doylestown’s most sizable players. Narberth had solid leadership from several players who have advanced from Narberth’s Flag Rugby to the junior level; including James Lane, Nicholas DeLuca, and Niko Katolik.
