It’s a Wrap!

What a great way to wrap up the season. That was quite honestly the best rugby I have seen the boys play all season and they were rewarded with a 57-5 win. This was the first game that the boys played solely as Narberth RFC and they put on a show. Congratulations to Matthew Hark (1 try) and Nicholas DeLuca (3 tries) for scoring their first tries of their rugby careers. James Lane nailed 6 of his 9 conversion kicks. Niko Katolik (2 tries) and Robert Murray (3 tries) also crossed the try line today to add to the win. CJ Rhinehart played one of his best games, grinding away with his powerful running and strong tackling. Lincoln Tucker was a defensive beast shutting down all attempts from Blackthorn in the open field. Yanni Dafis showed his strength throughout the game, carrying the ball into contact that required multiple defenders to bring him down. 

Thank you parents for trusting me with your boys. Rugby is not a game for everyone but the group that we have certainly showed that they are up to the challenge. I appreciate your flexibility with the scheduling and making sure the boys were at training and matches.
